Lydia Sawatsky joined the American Foreign Policy Council as a Junior Fellow in September 2026, following a previous internship. She currently works in refugee resettlement at World Relief. Her research focuses on politics and security in the Caucasus and Ukraine. Lydia holds a degree in International Relations from Wheaton College.
