The American
Foreign Policy Council accomplishes its goal of bringing information
on critical foreign policy issues to those who make or influence
the foreign policy of the United States and assisting world leaders
and foreign governments in their their transitions toward democracy
through three primary programs:
Russia
Program
The American Foreign Policy Council's Russia Program
is dedicated to strengthening democracy in Russia and promoting
ties between Russia and the United States. The Program also tracks
reform in Russia and the direction of Russian foreign policy through
its critically-acclaimed Russia Reform Monitor and other publications.

Program
The American Foreign Policy Council's China Program tracks the course of reforms and government
policy in the PRC, and its impact on the U.S. In addition to investigative
initiatives and fact-finding missions, the Program publishes the

The American Foreign Policy Council's Iran Freedom Initiative is

Central Asia Counterterrorism Project
The American Foreign Policy Council's Central Asia Counterterrorism
Project, directed by AFPC Visiting Fellow in Islamic Studies Evgueni Novikov, is
designed to provide policymakers and the media with new information about the
struggle against radical Islamic ideology taking place in Central Asia.
