AFPC's Eurasia Program, launched in late 2001, is designed to conduct
cutting-edge, policy-relevant research on the Middle East and Central
Asia and to serve as a resource capable of alerting policymakers to
security threats on the horizon. The Program concentrates its research
on four major areas - regional security in the greater Middle East, Russian regional policy, energy and security in Central Asia, and transnational threats.
It
also publishes the American Foreign Policy Council's weekly Missile Defense
Briefing Report and Eurasia Security Watch bulletins.
